Overview

LambdaMOO is both the name of a MUD and the name of MUD server software. This page is about the server software, not the particular MUD.

This site contains both this high level links page as well as the MCP home page.

Server source

The LambdaMOO sourceforge project has the CVS repository and releases of LambdaMOO.

Databases

A MUD running under LambdaMOO is implemented mostly in its database. There are several starting points for building a MUD with LambdaMOO called "cores". Here are a few commonly used ones:

• LambdaCore - available from ftp://ftp.lambda.moo.mud.org/pub/MOO/
• JHCore - available from http://jhcore.sourceforge.net/
• enCore - available from http://lingua.utdallas.edu/encore/
